"Kryvbas" - "Livyi Bereh". Preview

On August 15, Kryvbas will play the second home match of the new UPL season. As part of the 3rd round, the red-whites will host Kyiv's Livyi Bereh at the Hirnyk stadium. The starting whistle is at 13:00.

The teams started the 2026/2027 championship in different ways. Kryvbas, after a home defeat to Karpaty (1:4) in the 1st round, managed to rehabilitate in an away match against Zorya - 3:1. Thus, the Kryvbas team currently has three points. Livy Bereg started the new season with a draw. In the 2nd round, the Kyiv team played 0:0 at home with Kudrivka, scoring the first point in the championship. The team missed the opening round due to the postponement of the match with Dynamo.

This will be the third official meeting of the teams in the Ukrainian championships. For the first time, Kryvbas and Livyi Bereh played in September 2024. Then the red and whites won a minimal away victory - 1:0, and the only goal in the 81st minute was scored by Zaderaka. The next confrontation took place in March 2025, but due to an air alarm, the match of the 21st round was interrupted after 1 minute 35 seconds with the score 0:0. The match was played on May 7. Kryvbas then confidently won - 4:0 (Tverdokhlib-2, Kuzyk, Sosah).

Interestingly, the rivals have already met this summer - on July 25, they held a control match in Kyiv. The match turned out to be extremely effective: Kryvbas won away 5:3. Now it is a completely different story. The friendly match is a thing of the past, and three championship points are at stake.
