"Kryvbas" - "LNZ" 0:3

In the 9th round of the UPL, Kryvbas hosted LNZ. This marked the first home match for the "Red-and-Whites" in over a month.

First Half

The match began with positional attacks from the visitors, who opened the scoring as early as the 7th minute. Roman delivered a cross from the right flank, and Cara, arriving as a secondary option, struck the ball first-time into the far corner - 0:1.

Following the goal, both teams traded dangerous opportunities. In the 12th minute, Satchwell attempted to capitalize on a rebound with a spectacular side-scissor kick from the center of the penalty area, but the ball sailed over the crossbar. Shortly after, following a one-two with Ndiaga, Cara fired a long-range shot that went over the goal.

LNZ responded with chances of their own. In the 25th minute, Nawi controlled a pass from Kamenskyi on the left flank and took a shot, but the goalkeeper made the save. A few minutes later, Kuzyk tried to chip the ball over Kemkin following a delivery into the box, but the goalkeeper anticipated his move.

In the 29th minute, Ndiaga headed the ball wide of the near post following a cross from Roman on the right. Bar Lin also created a dangerous moment for the Kryvyi Rih side by lofting the ball toward the far post for Kamenskyi; however, the latter just missed connecting with the delivery while diving. In the 35th minute, Kemkin made a solid save following a free-kick strike by Didyk. Towards the end of the half, Kryvbas attempted to build up positional attacks and find an equalizer, but, unfortunately, they were unsuccessful.

Second Half

The second 45 minutes began with LNZ on the front foot, forcing Kemkin to make several crucial saves. In the 57th minute, following a cross from the left flank, Yakubu’s attempt at the far side of the penalty area went awry; the ball rebounded to Drambaiev, but Kemkin managed to collect his shot as well.

Shortly after, Giovany responded with a long-range effort from the left flank that sailed over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, David carried the ball to the left side of the penalty area and delivered a cross to the far post, where Ndiaga successfully connected to score - 0:2. Kryvbas tried to get back into the game, but the visitors from Cherkasy managed to hold off our team's pressure. In the 76th minute, play was interrupted due to an air raid alert.

After the match resumed, the visitors managed to score a third goal. David finished off an attack from the flank with a precise close-range strike. We fall to a 0:3 defeat - but we still believe in the team!
