"Kryvbas" - "Midtjylland" 0:3

In its first match in 2026, Kryvbas met one of the giants of Danish football - Midtjylland - at the Spanish winter training camp.

First half

The opponent started the match a little more actively. Our defense and Makhankov had to work hard after free kicks and corners. After one of the episodes, the ball even hit the post after a touch from Rojas. Gradually, Kryvbas leveled the game and began to create its own chances.

The goal was threatened by Zaderaka, Paraco, and Kamenskyi. The latter's shot from a good position was especially dangerous, when the ball whistled over the goal. Later, Araujo also had his moment, hitting the ball into the near corner - a little inaccurately.

It seemed that a goal against the Danes was coming, but at the end of the half we conceded the first. In the 41st minute, Makhankov parried an unpleasant low shot from the edge of the penalty area, but he was powerless to deal with Pimpong's finish - 0:1. In a few minutes, we could have quickly fought back, but Araujo did not realize a one-on-one, losing the duel to Lessl.

Second half

The beginning of the second half was not very encouraging for us, because we conceded for the second time. Dani Silva accurately shot into the near corner from 15 meters - 0:2. After the break, the Danes generally played more actively up front. Our team gave a chance to debut a whole galaxy of their own players during the second half!

As for the moments, Bar Lin had a good chance in the middle of the half, but he shot at the goalkeeper after a counterattack. Moreover, in the compensation time, the Kryvyi Rih team conceded for the third time. Pimpong scored a double after going almost one-on-one. We are losing 0:3, but this is only the beginning of the training camp. Next friendly match – January 19 against Danish “Aarhus”.
