Kryvbas has begun preparations for the match against Obolon

Kryvyi Rih’s FC Kryvbas continues preparations for its next official match - an away game against Kyiv’s Obolon in Matchday 8 of the 2026/2027 UPL season.

Following the friendly match against Shakhtar Donetsk last Friday, the "Red-and-Whites" were given a day off on Saturday. On Sunday, the team returned to work and held an evening training session at the club's base.

Monday was a busy day for the players, featuring two training sessions. Notably, today’s session began with a pleasant tradition: the team congratulated coach Valeriy Fedorchuk on his 38th birthday by forming the customary football "corridor" for him.

The players and coaching staff wished Valeriy Yuriyovych good health, success, victories, and plenty of positive moments with Kryvbas. On Tuesday, the team will have another day for rest and recovery.

From Wednesday onwards, Kryvbas will resume its standard training routine. In the lead-up to the match against Obolon, the team will alternate between single and double training sessions, gradually building up to peak match fitness.

On Friday, the "Red-and-Whites" will travel to Kyiv, where they will play the UPL Matchday 8 game the following day.
