"Kryvbas", which went to the 1st league in 2021. Where are they now? Part 1

On August 26, 2020, the revived Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" played its first official match. In the first qualifying round of the Cup of Ukraine, the red and white team hosted Cherkasy at the Hirnyk stadium.

The goals of Pyatov (twice), Berk and Kotsyumaka made it possible to win and advance to the next stage - 4:2. The stadium gave a standing ovation, because "Kryvbas" is back!

That day, a new history of the club began. And already in ten months, "Kryvbas" celebrated the promotion to the First League. Where are the football players who helped the team rise in class now? Today we will find out.

Goalkeeper Kyrylo Zlotar, 25 years old - 6 matches/conceded 6 goals.

It was Zlotar who defended the goal of "Kryvbas" in the first official match after the revival. In the cup match against "Cherkashchyna" Kyrylo missed twice, but still helped the team win the first historical victory. In one season, the student of Kyiv football played 6 matches for the red and white team (Druha Liga – 3/-2, KU – 4/-4), in which he conceded 6 goals. Zlotar lost the fight for a starting place to Roman Lyopka.

Before the start of the First League, FC "Kryvbas" did not renew the contract with Kirill. Currently, Zlotar is no longer a professional player, having finished his career in 2022 after watching in Lviv "Karpaty". Kirill is now 25 years old and is a goalkeeping coach at the Nika football school in the capital. He is also the goalkeeping coach of the amateur "Druzhba" Myrivka from the Kyiv region, which plans to obtain professional status this year and enter the Second League. He is studying at the UAF Licensing Center for the B UEFA diploma.

Defender Andriy Dedyaev, 29 years old – 17 matches/scored 2 goals.

The base player of "Kryvbas" of the Second League model. He could play both on the left flank of defense and midfield. In June 2021, after the team was promoted to the First League, he became one of those who left Kryvyi Rih by mutual consent of the parties. After that, he defended the colors of "Motor" from Zaporizhzhia, one of the strongest amateur teams of Ukraine. Recently, Dedyaev officially became a football player of "Druzhba" Myrivka from the Kyiv region, which plans to change its status to a professional one this year.

Defender Ihor Kotsyumaka, 27 years old – 16 matches/1 goal.

A pupil of Kryvyi Rih football. The author of one of the first goals of "Kryvbas" after the revival against "Cherkashchyna" in the Cup of Ukraine. Fast left back. After the team's promotion to the First League in the summer of 2021, he went on loan to the second division "Peremoha", where he was a core player. In January 2022, he left Kryvbas by mutual consent of the parties. He currently plays for the first league "Skoruk".

Defender Bohdan Sokol, 27 years old – 14 matches/1 assist.

Another pupil of Kryvyi Rih football. The speedy right-back had a good season in the Second League. You can't call Bohdan a one hundred percent player of the base of the red and white team at that time, but he made a significant contribution to the promotion to the First League. From 2021 to this day, he plays for Zaporizhzhia "Metallurg", which is fighting for entry to the UPL.

Defender Andrii Golub, 35 years old - 7 matches.

A pupil of local football. He played exclusively in Kryvyi Rih teams. After the youth team of "Kryvbas", he moved to "Girnyk", then again to the revived "Kryvbas". In January 2021, after breaking the contract with the red and whites, he ended his professional career. Since then, he has been working in the structure of the "Kryvbas" Academy. Currently, he is the senior coach of Kryvbas U-15.
