Kryvbas will fill the league break with a friendly match against Shakhtar

During the international break, Kryvbas will play a friendly match against Shakhtar Donetsk. The game is scheduled for Friday, October 2, and will take place on one of the training pitches at the Emily Resort complex in Vynnyky, Lviv region. Kick-off is at 15:00.

The upcoming break in the official schedule offers the "Red-and-Whites" an opportunity to maintain match fitness and continue preparations for the season's remaining games. During this period, the team is training without the players who have joined their respective national squads.

The last official encounter between Kryvbas and Shakhtar took place on May 25, 2026, during the final round of the 2025/2026 UPL season. That match, held at the Hirnyk Stadium in Kryvyi Rih, ended in a 2–1 victory for the "Miners."

Now, the teams will face each other in a friendly match. For Kryvbas, this serves as another stage of preparation for the resumption of official Ukrainian championship fixtures. A live stream of the friendly match will be available on Shakhtar’s YouTube channel.
