Kryvbas to face Zorya: Ukrainian Cup Round of 16 draw held

Today, September 18, the draw for the Round of 16 of the 2026/27 Ukrainian Cup took place at the House of Football in Kyiv. The draw determined that Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih will face Zorya Luhansk at this stage.

The draw determined that the "Red-and-Whites" will play the cup match away; thus, Zorya will be the home team. Kryvbas reached the Round of 16 after defeating Olimpiya (Savyntsi) 2-0 in the Round of 32. Zorya advanced from the Round of 32 by beating First League side Feniks-Mariupol 2-0 in an away match.

The Round of 16 consists of a single-leg match. The winner of the tie will advance to the Ukrainian Cup quarter-finals. In the event of a draw after regulation time, the winner will be decided by a penalty shootout, in accordance with tournament regulations; no extra time will be played.

The scheduled dates for the Round of 16 matches are October 27–29. The exact date and kick-off time for the Zorya vs. Kryvbas match will be announced later.
