Luis Matamalas: We created a lot of chances, but we lost in individual skill

- Today we had our moments and tried to resist the strong Shakhtar team. The score 1:2 after the first half gave us motivation and belief that we still had a chance. But in the second half, after the quickly conceded third goal, the guys lost their composure. Soon we conceded three more goals, after which it was extremely difficult to restrain the opponent.

We played against a very strong Shakhtar team - one of the best in the UPL, which has high-class football players. We understood that the match would be difficult, and that we needed to demonstrate our maximum in order to adequately resist such an opponent. We created a lot of chances, but they won thanks to their individual skill. As a result, we are returning to Kryvyi Rih with a negative result.

- It is obvious from the score that the game was difficult and we did not succeed. In the first half, we gave our all on the field. Immediately after the break, when we conceded the third goal, it became much more difficult psychologically. We failed to turn the tide of the match. We conceded even more goals. I think we had good chances in the first half of the game, and if we had realized them, the score would have been different.
