Maksym Lunov: Each of us wanted to win, but this time it didn't work out

Midfielder of Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" Maksym Lunov commented on the second match of the third qualifying round of the Europa League 2024\25 against "Viktoria" Plzen - 0:1 on UPL TV. 

- Maxim, what is the mood in the team now?

- We feel some exhaustion. After all, they lost the chance to go further. Today, "Victoria" was stronger. Each of the football players of "Kryvbas" did everything that depended on him. Everyone wanted to win, but, unfortunately, it was not possible this time.

- "Kryvbas" scored two goals in the last four official matches. Why is there a lack of implementation, in your opinion?

- It's hard to say. More work needs to be done to eliminate this shortcoming.

- The latest results may be affected by fatigue?

- You can say anything. We went on the field today - a full stadium. At such moments, you don't think about any fatigue. You go out and play.

- The next European Cup opponent of "Kryvbas" is "Betis". How do you describe your opponent?

- A very good Spanish team that likes to control the ball. These are European Cups, so it will simply not be with anyone.
