Maksym Zaderaka: This is football, you should always be ready for a difficult ending

Midfielder of Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas Maksym Zaderaka commented on the UPL TV broadcast of the away win over Lviv Ruh - 2:1 in the 9th round of the UPL.

- Maksym, let's start with the end of the match. You were leading 2:0, but then you conceded. Did you expect the finale of the match to be so nerve-wracking?

- Well, this is football - you always have to be ready for a difficult ending. The opponent made substitutions, added freshness, and started to run out well on counterattacks. It's good that they didn't realize their chances, but we held on and got three very important points.

- Can we say that experience helped you today: realization of chances, professionalism of your team?

- Perhaps partly so. Although we have a young team, like the opponent. Perhaps I add a little age experience. But overall, yes, we realized our chances, and that was key to the victory.

- Remember how the moment with your goal happened. How did everything develop?

- We constantly play these episodes in training: running into free zones. Bekavac made a great pass, all I had to do was put my foot down. The ball ended up in the net, I'm very happy that I managed to score.

- You know, according to statistics, today they had 23 shots on your goal. Ruh created so much, was that surprising?

- Ruh has always been an uncomfortable opponent for us. We always have difficult matches with them - 0:0, 1:1, 2:1. Over the past three years, they've always been difficult games. But today we realized our chances better - and that brought results. Now we're preparing for Dynamo.

- Finally, if you look at the standings, do you know where you are now?

- We will look at the table only at the end of the season. You know, football: you lose one game and you go down. Then it is very difficult to go up. So we move from match to match, in each one the task is to win.
