Maksym Zaderaka: Not surprised by Mendoza's performance

Midfielder of Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas, team captain Maksym Zaderaka spoke about his emotions after the home match of the 25th round of the UPL against Kyiv Dynamo - 5:6.

- Maksym, it was just a crazy match, and in fact it is the most productive match in the history of the Ukrainian Premier League. What are your feelings now after the final whistle?

- It was a fantastic match. I think all the fans enjoyed the goals scored, the open game. I am sure that the fans are very interested in watching such matches. But I am a little sad because we won 4:1 and lost.

- Your team had a basketball training session during the week. From the point of view that there was a lot of struggle on the field, including against the weather - did this help in any way, in your opinion?

- It was just interesting to dilute the training process. It was interesting to play basketball. We had a very good load during the week. Therefore, I think we prepared very well for the Kyiv team and gave them a tactical surprise. In principle, what our coaching staff demanded today, I think we did everything in terms of attack. But we will have to analyze the game this week and see what problems we have in defense.

- Crazy first half, four goals scored by your partner Mendoza. What was that?

- We constantly work together with Mendoza in the training process, so I am not surprised by his performance. He does the same thing in training, in principle. Well, he caught the courage, and four goals - well, it's fantastic! That's probably why we love football - for such emotions, for such moments. I only congratulate him on poker. But he went into the locker room very upset, because the team lost.
