Maksym Zaderaka: From the first minutes we played aggressively, we wanted to score as many goals as possible

The captain of Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas, midfielder Maksym Zaderaka shared his thoughts on the home match of the 13th round of the UPL against Rivne Veres - 2:2.

- Maksym, you opened the score in the match. Did you want to set the pace of the game for the team in this way?

- We prepared for this game for a very long time, because there was a break in the championship. We analyzed the opponent well and understood that our fans would come to this match. From the first minutes we started playing aggressively, we wanted to score as many goals as possible, so in the first half we created a lot of chances. Unfortunately, we did not use some of them.

We perceive the result very painfully: it feels like a defeat. We want to analyze what happened as soon as possible, draw conclusions and prepare properly for the next game with Shakhtar. We will remain professionals and move on.

- What do you think has changed since the break? Was it a loss of concentration or did other factors affect the game?

- Now, after the fact, it's hard to say anything. During the break, the coach raised the temperature a little, said that we need to use our opportunities and not lose momentum in the second half. However, something went wrong. Next week we will analyze the game in more detail.

- Do you hear the fans' slogans during the game, or am I completely immersed in the process?

- I am completely immersed in the game, but, of course, there are episodes: standards or micro-pauses, when the fans' support is clearly audible. We are very grateful to them, because this is a difficult period. In the next matches we will correct our mistakes and try to gain points.
