Marios Alexandris: FA "Kryvbas" awaits an interesting but at the same time difficult and demanding new season

Director of Football Academy Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih Marios Alexandris shared expectations on the eve of the start of red and white youth team.

- This year, DUFLU has changed the format somewhat, our pupils will play in the Pro league among the 12 best academies of Ukraine. How do you comment on?

- If you want to be the best - you need to compete with the strongest. We will always support and welcome all changes aimed at developing children's and youth football in Ukraine. An interesting but difficult and demanding season for all teams and players awaits us ahead. We will witness the fascinating matches and I wish every club-participant success. I want to wish all the players a good season without injuries. I am convinced that the level of matches and the league itself will be as high as possible. Children and youth football in Ukraine is actively developing, and this is noticeable.

- What does the Academy Kryvbas want to achieve in the new season?  What are the tasks to play the players?

- Our goal and philosophy remain unchanged. Kryvbas is an academy that focuses on the development of football players and gradual, systemic progress. We strive to work with our pupils in a professional environment, providing quality training and training process, built on our methodology and principles. For us, the long -term development of a football player is more important than instant results. As a result, the main task of the Academy is to raise elite level players for Kryvbas in and Ukrainian football.

- This year, as part of the Pro League, the Academy students will travel the country - from Dnipro to Mukachevo. How can such travels affect players?

- Ahead - very interesting matches, long trips and serious trials for our boys. Travels in Ukraine, in particular west, are always difficult because of the duration of the road. At the same time, it is an invaluable experience that can only benefit: football players come out of a comfort zone, get an opportunity to compete with different teams, including the strongest rivals. If children gain such experience at a young age, then in the future they will be much better prepared for professional football.
