Marios Alexandrice: We improve all processes in FA "Kryvbas", we want to be innovative and progressive

Director of the Kryvyi Rih Football Academy Kryvbas Marios Alexandris summed up the first half of the season 2024 \ 2025 in an interview with club journalists.

- You have been working as director of the Academy Kryvbas for five months. How can you evaluate the level of children's football in Ukraine?

- I am really impressed with the level of playing our young pupils and opponents, against whom we played difficult matches. I would like to urge representatives of other academies to be more united in our common business - the development of children's football in Ukraine. I would like to see from them more interest and understanding of the importance of what we do and where we walk. After all, if we are united in one direction, in the future we will benefit the national team of Ukraine.

- What did you succeed in this short period of time as director FA Kryvbas?

- 5 months - quite a long period. We have already begun to show the results we have achieved today, because much has changed during this time. We try to improve all processes, be innovative and progressive. We have made a new methodological plan in all categories - the focus on the development of our players and coaches. Changes always take time, so we must be patient and not expect a result in one day. In addition, we must work together as a single mechanism, constantly communicate with each other and discuss our future strategy.

I can say with confidence that we are already seeing progress in all age groups, because we have changed certain training processes. In addition, we interact with the Academy coaches. We do not stop and develop every day. We are also glad that we have constant interaction with the club's main team, it is very important for us. I believe that the interaction between our young pupils and professional players of the first team is something unique, because young players take a valuable example. We are one whole - from the first team to Baby Team, that is what pushes us on new achievements every day.

- Tell us about the interaction with the parents of the FA pupils Kryvbas.

- I cannot call the football academy perfect at this point, if it lacks communication with the parents of the children and the pupils themselves, because they are part of our red and white family. Of course, sometimes we can have different views on things - it's normal. We appreciate the fact that they trust our children. Instead, what can we do for them other than our work is to give them the opportunity to be involved in the life of the club.

- What can you say in general about football during the war and in Kryvyi Rih in particular?

- During the war, football for children became something bigger than sports. It is difficult to understand people who do not live here. Many of my acquaintances from Europe are interested in how people continue to live and how young players train. I want to highlight the fact that these children are very bold, because they continue to live, achieve goals and dream. I couldn't imagine that people could work so hard during the war.

This adds motivation to work hard for our pupils to distract them from war and give them the goal of playing football. It is important to continue to play, despite the fact that we live in the frontline. We live and work here. In fact, the courage of the Ukrainian people is amazing. We will continue to do our favorite business.

- Can you share your nearest plans?

- After the winter holidays, we will return to preparation for the second part of the season. This is an important period for us, because we have already analyzed the work of the Academy over the past period, set clear goals, prescribed a strategy for our future actions. Therefore, from that moment we go to a new level. We have a lot of trips to Europe together with the European Club Association. We want our coaches to also get European experience.

We strive to have a close connection with top European academies. We are also interested in strengthening the legionnaires of our senior groups. So, after a break, we will continue to show what Fa Kryvbas is capable of tournaments. 

The only puzzle that we are missing now are European specialists who will soon join us: goalkeeper specialist, physical training specialist and specialist in the methodological department. Well, Ukrainian specialists will be joined by our team. We are very pleased that the Academy is expanding and these people will become part of our red and white family. I repeat, Fa Kryvbas comes to the next level.

- What do you think the Academy Kryvbas is the best academy in the Southeast region of Ukraine?

- Our Academy Kryvbas, indeed, the best in the Southeast region, because we are fruitfully working and making a lot of efforts to be progressive. We try to work methodically and introduce innovations into all our workflows. This is the driving force of our progress and future success of Fa Kryvbas. Thus, our young pupils will reach the set football goals and will have a wonderful future.
