Marios Alexandrice: This season we have confirmed the quality of work of all FA departments "Kryvbas"
Director of Kryvyi Rih Fa Kryvbas Marios Alexandris summed up the season 2024 \ 2025 for our children's and youth teams
- What did this football for the Academy Kryvbas?
was an incredible and truly impressive season that taught us a lot. Our academy is a fantastic project that made it possible thanks to the President of the Konstantin Karamanitz club and the CEO Volodymyr in Bayenka. We always feel their support and it is extremely motivated to move to common goals.
This season we have confirmed the quality of work of all academy departments. There were many challenges and important events. The beginning of the season became a transition period - new ideas, new people, including from abroad. It is not easy to run something new and make everyone believe in the project. But looking back, we see the scale of the work done.
We signed professional contracts with the Academy players, our teams went to the final stage of the DUFLU, participated in international tournaments, increased the level of training process, and gave our coaches modern tools and knowledge. I think it's a big step forward.
and at the same time is only the beginning. Our project is not designed for one year. The football academy cannot expect quick results - this is a long way. Our main goal is to raise quality Ukrainian football players for the first team Kryvbas in and for football of Ukraine in general. We are already looking at the future and are getting ready for the next season with the same inspiration and the same dream.
- the coaching and governing staff of the Academy have undergone dramatic changes. Are you satisfied with the changes and are you waiting for new ones?
- it would be interesting to ask the coaches and staff themselves if they are satisfied with these changes. In my opinion, such changes were inevitable. We launched a new project, and with it new ideas, a new vision, a new philosophy came with it. To make it all implement - the changes were necessary.
I see that people who are part of our academy today are really motivated, focused and seeking to grow. As I say, there are no limits in development. All we have already achieved, we are able to do even better. We never stop - neither in work nor in training. Because the Academy Kryvbas is not just about football, it's our life.
And we try to convey this idea every day to everyone with us. We teach philosophy: if you work with a complete return - you will achieve everything. If not - there will be nothing.
- How do you evaluate the performances of the Academy teams in the All-Ukrainian Championship and Local Competitions ?
- As I said earlier, our goal is not only Wins in the tournaments in which we are involved. They are important, but these are not the only performance of the successful season. For me, a real result is the development of players, their progress, understanding of our philosophy, and in the end - the signing of professional contracts. Of course, we are always aimed at Wins, we want to be leaders. But we don't get tired exclusively in the accounts and places in the table.
This is not the final of the Champions League is a stage in the development of young players. The most important thing is to teach children to play the football we want to see and give them a chance to grow as professionals. This season we participated in a large number of championships. The results were different - both positive and not quite. But this is football. And for our pets it was a very valuable experience that helps them grow.
- many events were organized at the Academy Kryvbas during this season. Which one do you think you can distinguish?
- At the end of the season, I can say with confidence that summer Camp was the brightest event this year. This is a real example of teamwork. Even with mediaidil, coaches, management and everyone who joined - nothing would be possible. I am sincerely grateful to everyone for creating fantastic seven days for children. We are already looking forward to new events that will become even brighter.
We have an extremely interesting season ahead. We have been preparing for many months, analyzing all the details and developing new approaches. We can say now: we are waiting for many qualitative changes. We have updated training programs by adapting them to modern requirements, and we plan to participate in new DUFLU tournaments of different levels. But it is important to us not only to play inside the country - we strive to give our pupils international experience.
We want them to see world football, get acquainted with other cultures and mentality. For example, last season our players have already visited Greece, where we met with teams from different countries. And we got a very positive feedback. Another important news is that foreign coaches have joined the Academy. For the first time in history Kryvbas in age categories U-19 and U-17 specialists from abroad will work.
This is a unique step forward to help bring both the Academy and our players to a new level. A separate priority is a closer link with the first team. We build a clear path of development: from the Academy - to the main team of the club. And this is no longer a theory, because we gradually integrate the students of the Academy into the first team. It is a huge motivation for our boys and at the same time confirmation that the system is working.
We are also actively working to sign more professional contracts with our players. This is important not only for their careers, but also as a sign of respect for their creation. We believe that among them are future players of the basics Kryvbas. In short, we go our way, confidently and with the belief that we will achieve all the goals.
- How do you respond to when the player is not acting on your tactics but that gives the result?
- If it works - we only welcome it. Even if something is not planned, but it brings the result great. Football and players themselves are often unpredictable. We, like coaches, can have a clear plan, but if the player makes a non -standard solution and it works - why not?
- what do you see the main competitive advantage of the Academy Kryvbas compared to other academies?
- I think our strength is in a clear plan and a project. We have all the necessary tools and a team that brings these ideas to life. We are moving on our strategy and what we work on can be seen on the field - at different levels.
In my opinion, the most consistent planning and strategy is the most important thing we have. In addition, we actively work with our pets and their parents: we conclude contracts, support, direct. And I think we do it more than anyone else. This is our advantage.
- What was your most awesome call in Kryvbas and?
- First- language. This is really difficult, because I do not own Ukrainian. It is difficult to fully convey your ideas when there is a language barrier. But thank God, I have wonderful colleagues - they help, translate, support everything. Without them I would not cope. They are very important to me. The second challenge is adaptation to a new country. But everything else is work. If you know what you do and have experience - no problems.
- And now the questions from our subscribers, which are many, but we have chosen the most relevant. Do you like Ukraine?
- yes i like Ukraine.
- You are already working with us. How do you club?
- I enjoy every day. I love my work and give her myself completely - 100 percent: heart, mind and soul. I can say the same about my colleagues. We have already formed a strong, cohesive team, and we only plan to strengthen it. And I can say with confidence: join FC Kryvbas - it was the best solution in my life.
- What do you dream of and what do you want to achieve in your profession?
- I was already asked about it when I was a football player. And I will repeat the same thing that I said then: there are no limits for dreams, as in work. I often remind you of both players and myself. We need to get what we deserve. In my case - if I deserve success, I will reach it. If not - I will not get anything. For me, the most important thing in life and football is justice. Get exactly what you worked out, what you deserve.
- How do you motivate yourself?
- I have fantastic work, wonderful colleagues, all the conditions for development. I have everything I ever dreamed of. My work is a dream that has been made in reality. I work in another country, with people of different nationalities and it is extremely inspiring. I'm really happy. Every morning I wake up and do what I love. And this is my main motivation.
- where do you see yourself in ten years?
- Life constantly teaches us not to plan too far and live every day. If 10 years ago, someone asked me where I would be today - I would never say that I would find in Ukraine and work as director of the football academy Kryvbas. So, honestly, I do not think about where I will be in 10 years. As I said: Everything I deserve is sure to come.
