Miroslav Koubek: "Kryvbas" is a very strong opponent who created many problems for us

After the second match of the third qualifying round of the Europa League 2024\25 against Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" - 1:0, the head coach of the Czech "Viktoria" Plzeň Miroslav Koubek commented on the game at the press conference.

- You made it to the group stage of this season's European Cup. Tell me how it turned out?

- It was difficult. After all, "Kryvbas" is a very strong opponent who created many problems for us. But it should be noted our defense, which played "to zero". The team demonstrated a good game and the fact that it already has experience on the European arena. It was not easy to score against Kryvbasa today, but we still managed to do it. It was an extremely difficult match, the intrigue lasted until the last minute.

- Daniel Vashulin scored two goals for "Kryvbas" in two matches. Does he fit in well with the team?

- We all see that he is progressing. In total, he has been marked in three official matches in a row. Glad for him.

- Now ahead - "Hearts". What do you expect from this opponent?

- I haven't studied the opponent yet, because we were focusing on Kryvbas. Of course, we understand that Scottish football is tough, combative. That is why we are waiting for such matches against Hearts.
