On March 26, at the base of the "Kryvbas" Football Academy in Kryvyi Rih, a Health Day was held, organized by FC "Kryvbas", the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Executive Committee of the Kryvyi Rih City Council with the support of the German Federal Foreign Office as part of Mental health and psychosocial support programs.

The event, which was aimed at families of temporarily displaced persons and families of heroes who died in the war, was attended by coaches and football players of the "Kryvbas" Academy, players of the men's and women's teams of FC "Kryvbas", psychologists from Kryvyi Rih educational institutions and psychologists - volunteers of the support hotline and employees of the department of psychological health and psychosocial support of the IOM. At two sports and three psychological stations, information on mental health and methods of combating stress was provided.

The event began with an exercise in the center of the indoor arena of the "Kryvbas" Academy. Coaches and football players performed sports exercises, participants repeated after them. Then the participants of the event were divided into groups by color: two sports and three psychological stations.

Every 20 minutes, the groups moved to a new station clockwise. In the first part of the event, the children and their parents were joined by Kryvbas football players Dmytro Semenov and Zhan Po, as well as Kryvbas FC football players Polina Yanchuk, Kristine Aleksanyan, Olena Pidgorna and Viktoriya Petrovets. Later, they were joined by Timur Korablin and Maksym Zaderaka, as well as U-19 footballers Arseniy Kileviy and Ilya Kozubenko.

As noted by the vice president of FC "Kryvbas" Artem Gagarin, such measures are very important nowadays, because it is psychological support not only for the affected families, but also for the whole of Ukraine, which is currently fighting for its freedom.

- This event is the first step to build psychological programs and prove the point that it is important to take care of yourself. Mental and physical health are interconnected. We were glad to cooperate with Kryvbas and Kryvyi Rih psychologists. We hope that people will understand that it is okay to take care of yourself. We plan to develop this program in the future," said the representative of the IOM PZPSP department Olga Kozlova.
