"Obolon" U-21 - "Kryvbas" U-21 4:0

Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih U-21 faced Obolon Kyiv U-21 in an away match during Matchday 8 of the UPL-2 youth championship. The hosts opened the scoring in just the 2nd minute. Tesliuk took a weak shot, but goalkeeper Danladi failed to secure the ball; it slipped underneath him and into the net - 1:0.

Tesliuk scored his second goal in the 34th minute. Following a cross from the right flank, the Obolon forward beat Danladi - who had come out to intercept - to the ball and doubled his team's lead. After the break, the "Red-and-Whites" tried to turn the match around, but the Kyiv side extended their lead to 3:0 in the 68th minute. A pass from the left flank resulted in the ball finding the far corner of the Kryvbas net.

The hosts sealed the final score in the 81st minute. Another delivery from the left into the six-yard box led to a close-range finish, as Obolon players fired the ball into the net. Ultimately, Kryvbas U-21 lost to the Kyiv team 0:4.

The young Kryvyi Rih squad will have a chance to bounce back from this disappointing result in their next championship match - a home game against LNZ U-21 on October 19 (Matchday 9).
