FC official statement "Kryvbas"

FC Kryvbas appealed to UEFA with a replacement of Turkish arbitrator Arda Carddeshler, designated for the match of the playoff League of Conferences 2024 \ 2025 Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine - Betis Seviese, Spirit Slovakia.

It became known that this arbitrator was serving a friendly match between Russia and Serbia, which took place in Moscow, Russia. Because of this, we consider it unacceptable to involve Arda Carddeshler in the match with the participation of the Ukrainian Football Club.

As you know, the war in Ukraine has been going on for the third year in connection with the large-scale military aggression of the russian federation. Despite the war, Ukraine holds football competitions at all levels. We owe this opportunity to the Ukrainian military, who courageously defend our country all the time, protecting it from the Russian invaders.

In the 2023/2023 season, FC Kryvbas received the right to represent Ukraine on the international stage. However, the refereeing of our international match by a referee who refereed the match with the participation of Russians, even directly in Russia, discredits our entire Club in front of all Kryvbas fans, among whom there are many military personnel who are currently protecting our country from russian attacks, as well as in front of all Ukraine, which suffers from the military aggression of the russians.

FC Kryvbas also informed the Ukrainian Football Association and the UAF Referee Committee on the current situation. We believe that common sense will win.
