Oleg Kozhushko: It's cool when there is competition in the team. I wish Ndombazi nothing but success

- Oleg, you have been out of action for a month and a half. How are you feeling now and when can we expect your return to the field?

- I feel good now. Thank God, I have recovered, I have already started training and, I think, I will start appearing on the field in the next few games.

- When you are away from football for a long time, how do you motivate yourself to work?

- This is such a very difficult period for every football player. You need motivation, first of all, to get back on the field and play. I work every day with great motivation to get back on the field and help my team win.

- Where did you watch the game of "Kryvbas" against "Dynamo"? What were your first thoughts after the final whistle?

- I watched the game with my parents at home in Mykolaiv. First of all, it's a shame after every defeat, because you always want to win. Therefore, the first emotions after the game were more negative, because we did not score points in this game.

- Do you think that a break in the championship can benefit our team? Is it time for a reboot?

- I think that the break will definitely benefit the team, because now the result is not what we expected. Therefore, there is a certain period of time when we can analyze our previous matches, adjust the game somewhere, and already, so to speak, with a new breath and desire to return to the next part of the championship.

- French striker Noah Ndombazi recently joined the team. Do you feel additional competition in this connection?

- It's cool when there is competition in the team. Therefore, let Noah show himself from the best side. I'm always in favor of good competition.

- Yuriy Vernydub gives a chance to players from U-19. Which of our students would you like to celebrate?

- In general, it is very good that there is now such a trend that the Club's pupils are admitted to the first team. I used to have that too. This is such a great experience for them. For example, Kamensky made his debut in a game with "Dynamo", it's something cosmic in general. And the boys train with us, so they are well done. The most important thing is that they endure, because there is more load and speed.  

- In social networks, we often see you in photos together with your son and Maksym Lunyov. Tell the story of how you became best men.

- We have played together since childhood, we met at the Dnipro Academy. And from the age of 14 until today, we walked, one might say, this football path together, we always communicated. Then I had a son and Maxim became his godfather. Therefore, I am glad that we are with him from the very beginning and, thank God, nothing prevents our friendship.

- As for your son, is the young football player growing up?

- Let's hope so (smiles). He is already playing football, of course, not so professionally, because he is still too young to say anything, but he has speed.
