Oleh Shandruk: "Kryvbas" is a good team that deserves its high place in the table

Head coach of Rivne "Veres" Oleh Shandruk commented on the home match of the 28th round of the UPL against Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" - 1:3.

- Please comment on the game.

- It seems like an interesting game. Somewhere we probably created more than one goal, but, unfortunately, we lost. Therefore, it is important now to properly conduct the final stage of the championship and draw certain conclusions, again, already thinking about the next season.

- We saw changes from you in the starting lineup today, several key players were missing. Tell us about it.

- We have injuries and players who missed due to disqualification. The same Tsipot. Therefore, somewhere these are forced substitutions, and plus we gave some young players, including one, the opportunity to debut. Today I congratulate both Matkivskyi and Murashko - because these are memorable days for them. And I sincerely believe that they will continue to progress in Veres. And also Protasevych - you see, for him this is his debut goal in the Premier League. Therefore, apart from the defeat, which does not add positivity today, there are actually positive moments. And we need to quickly switch now, because the next game is on Sunday with Karpaty. And we will be preparing for it from Wednesday.

- Veres had many moments today, but somewhere the implementation let the team down a little. Why, in your opinion, does this happen and quite often?

- I think it's all simple - it's our level today, which we need to work on. We have two ways today: the first is to raise the level of those players on whom we will count in the next championship, and, of course, to strengthen ourselves at the expense of the selection. Again, it is very important to draw the right conclusions, because we really do not score much in this championship - this is our problem, and we need to work on it.

- What is the most important thing that the team should take away from today's game, so as not to make such mistakes in the future?

- Actually, I want to congratulate Kryvbas on the victory, because they really deserve it today. A really good, bright team, aggressive. And it is not so easy to play against them, especially in the transition phases - most of the goals are scored somewhere there. And it seems that we did not have so much time to prepare after the last game. Perhaps Kryvbas had one more day of rest - this also played its role emotionally and physically, because we had a very short break between rounds. But overall, I think that Kryvbas deserves the place it is in today, and today we were opposed by a good team. But still, we could have played better both in attack and defense.
