Oleksandr Pozdeev: We tried to be aggressive and worked hard

Oleksandr Pozdeev, the head coach of Kovaliv Kolos, commented on the home draw against Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas - 1:1 in the 13th round of the UPL in a flash interview on UPL TV.

- Is a draw an acceptable and positive result for you?

- It was an interesting game. Constructive, as it were, from our side. We were aggressive, tried to be aggressive and worked hard. The president thanked us.

- We saw that "Colossus" worked very fruitfully: there were various combinations. Did you ask the team to hit from a distance? After all, there were many such blows.

- We are training. Of course, aggression is pressure on the goalkeeper, on the goal, on the defense of the opponent. He is needed. And we have problems with implementation, it was also in previous games. I don't know now. I liked the game at first sight. Unfortunately, it is not winning, but it is interesting.

- Bolivar amused, because he scored, and in the first half he had a lot of goal-scoring episodes?

- Finally he scored. We hope that he will do better in the future, because, again, he does everything well in training, scores goals. The psychology is somewhat different in official matches, as well as the responsibility. We are pleased that he scored and we hope that there will only be more goals from him in the future.

- How satisfied are you with the protection actions? Kozik plays on both flanks...

- Yes, Edik is such a versatile soldier. It's cool when there are such footballers who can play in many positions. From the point of view of defense - satisfied. We gave away the first goal, a football player ran in from deep and scored for us. They gave away a goal, easily conceded. And so, in general, they tried to press the opponent, tried not to lose the fight. The opponent is good. Their forward fights well for the ball, and "Kryvbas" tried to play a lot through him. Therefore, in general, we are satisfied with the actions of the defense.

- About ten minutes before the end of the match, you made a triple substitution. How did you want to turn the game around?

- We wanted a little bit, so that the pressure was constant on the defense, on the goalkeeper and for fresh players to open into space. We have a lot of people, we count on everyone, so we wanted to keep up the pace and try to give quality.
