- Oleksandr, we are glad to see you again on the field. Did you burn a lot of nerve cells watching the Kryvbas game from the stands and on TV?
- Yes, I can say that it is not easy to watch when you know that you cannot help the boys on the field. Of course, there are worries for every moment, for every situation, but it's good that we haven't lost a single match during this time, and that's already a good result. Therefore, we can say that the boys managed the job without me (smiles).
- Tell me, how do you feel now? How is your recovery going?
- Much better already, thank you. Doctors and rehabilitators and I are fruitfully working in this direction. Glad to finally start training with the team this week so all good. In general, I feel great and ready to help Kryvbas.
- You became a Kryvbas player four months ago. Have you gotten used to our city during this time, do you have favorite places?
- Yes, I can already say that I am used to the city, I and my family feel comfortable here. And about the places, I like your parks, there are really many of them. My wife and I often walk on the mini embankment near the river, we are not too lazy to go somewhere further from the center and discover new places. Kryvyi Rih has many nice places to walk, which I like.
- Despite the difficult situation in Ukraine, Kryvyi Rih fans come to the stadium every match and support Kryvbas...
- Thank you very much and take a bow, because I understand the current situation in the country. Perhaps they come to distract themselves and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of football. And I will say that the boys understand this and know for whom they have to play and give their best. Somewhere, perhaps, it doesn't always work out, but we always try not to let them down, give our best at every moment and bring victories to Kryvyi Rih.
- More and more young pupils U-19 have the opportunity to train with the main team. And what qualities helped young Oleksandr to become a professional football player?
- Probably, it is obstinacy. A lot of things didn't work out for me in this transition from children's football to adulthood. But I was always persistent, tried my best and fought for my place with everyone. This helped me.
- We learned that you like to read historical books. Do you have a favorite quote?
- There is such a thing. Favorite quote - the famous words "Fight - win". Very good words that stuck in my head. Especially now in this situation that has developed in our native Ukraine. What our country, our people are doing is something incredible. We are fighting and I believe we will overcome it.
- If you had the opportunity to write a book about "Kryvbas", what would you call it?
- Probably, "Red Devils". This is how I would call a book about FC Kryvbas.
