"Oleksandria" - "Kryvbas" 1:1

In the final match of the 2025\2026 UPL season, Kryvbas played away against FC Oleksandria. There were several changes in the starting lineup of our team compared to the last match against Shakhtar. Note: Makhankov took the place in goal for the first time in a long time; Borges came out on the left in defense; Rojas, together with Villivald, formed a duo of central defenders.

First half

The guests started the game actively: shots from Jurcec and Shevchenko were dangerous already in the debut, but the opponent fought back. The hosts responded later with a shot by Ogarkov over the goal from mid-range. But the first moment was created by the Oleksandria team: Yade broke through the defense and was already sending the ball into the empty net - Jurcec insured Makhankov on the line.

The opponent played a little more actively and created several more good opportunities to open the score. For example, Vashchenko's powerful shot from afar was saved by the post, and Castillo was a little short of closing in on a sharp cross. Kryvyi Rih didn't sit back in defense, and they also attacked well: Araujo shot high from outside the penalty area, and Kamensky shot from an acute angle - Makarenko was on the spot.

In injury time, the hosts even scored, but after reviewing the VAR, Buleca's goal was rightly disallowed due to offside in Yade a moment earlier.

Second half

At the beginning of the second half, the guests scored after Vilivald's touch, but here too the referees saw an offside position. The game was even with both sides having chances to succeed, and Kryvyi Rih scored. In the 70th minute, Maya, who came on as a substitute, converted his chance after Butenko's excellent cross - 0:1. Congratulations to the boys on their debut for the red and whites: Joel - with a goal, Tymur - with an assist!

“Oleksandria” went ahead and managed to fight back: Rodrigues scored with a header in the 81st minute after a flank pass - 1:1. At the end of the game, the opponent played a little more actively, but the referee's final whistle recorded a fighting draw. We thank our team for this season, as well as the fans for their ardent support and faith in the team.
