"Olympia" Savyntsi - "Kryvbas" 0:2

Kryvbas defeated Olimpia from Savyntsi in the round of 16 of the BETON Cup of Ukraine. The red-and-whites controlled the game, created many scoring opportunities and scored twice against the home team. Goals were scored by Rivas and Cuiza.

First half

The first shot of the match was left by Olimpia. In the 5th minute, the home team player shot from the penalty area line, but very inaccurately. In two minutes, Kryvbas responded with a powerful shot by Giovany from 25 meters - the defenders managed to block the ball. In the 13th minute, Herbert shot again from afar, this time in the center of the goal, and the Olimpia goalkeeper took the ball.

In the 17th minute, Fabunmi made a dangerous free kick. He cleverly shot into the near corner, but close to the post. The red and whites continued to have the initiative and opened the scoring in the 30th minute. Machado found Rivas with a pass in the penalty area. Yakson brilliantly threw the ball into the air and, not letting it fall to the grass, powerfully hit it under the crossbar - 0:1.

Kryvbas could have doubled their lead before the break. In the 33rd minute, Mashadu passed from the right, and Seck headed it in. The hosts were saved by the crossbar.

Second half

After the break, the red and whites continued to create chances. Already in the 50th minute, Shevchenko headed the ball after the pass - the ball hit the post. Two minutes later, Rivas, after a positional attack, shot close, but after a rebound the leather ball went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Kryvbas played a corner. Nawi had a great opportunity to shoot from a lethal position, but he shot over the crossbar.

The guests continued to press. In the 65th minute, Seck shot powerfully from an acute angle - the ball hit the net from the outside. Another opportunity arose in the 70th minute. After a rebound, Vilivald shot from a good position, but missed the goal. In the 78th minute, the red and whites were again one step away from a second goal. After a pass from the right from a free kick, Vilivald was a few meters from the goal, but shot higher.

In the 87th minute, Seck got another great opportunity. The forward went one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but shot much higher than the goal. However, in the compensation time, Kryvbas still doubled the advantage. In the 90+2nd minute, the red and whites organized a rapid counterattack. Seck brought Cuiza to meet the goalkeeper, and in one touch he accurately shot low - 0:2. Congratulations to Santi on his debut goal for our team!

The score did not change again until the final whistle. Kryvbas won a confident victory and made it to the 1/8 finals of the BETON Cup of Ukraine. In addition to the victory, this match became special for two red-white players. Already in the compensation time, the newcomer Hodia and the young Korobka entered the field, for whom these were the first official matches in the composition of Kryvbas.
