Special event: "Kryvbas" players met with small fans

Last week, special guests visited the training base of the "Kryvbas" Academy. The children of the Gleyuvat community of the Kryvorizka district were invited to a meeting with the main team of Kryvbas as part of the promotion of football in our region and the spread of football culture outside the city.

The children were shown the base, the conditions in which professional football players train. Our guests talked with the head coach of "Kryvbas" Yury Vernydub, football players of the main team. Children had the opportunity to take pictures with their idols and receive autographs and souvenirs.

- Almost 70 children of our Gleyuvat community visited the "Kryvbas" football club. I would like to thank, first of all, the company Rudomine and the management of the FC for giving the children of rural areas the opportunity to touch professional football. We got a unique chance to talk with professional players, to see the infrastructure of the "Kryvbas" Academy. It is very important that children learn what professional football is, what you need to strive for in order to be successful, - he emphasizes Dmytro Gureev, the first deputy of the Gleyuvat village head.

- I really wanted the children to see how football Kryvyi Rih lives. It is very important not to leave the children of the future, even during the war in Ukraine. Nowadays, it is very difficult to spend holidays with the sound of sirens and the like. Therefore, we took this step anyway and agreed to a meeting. I hope the children liked it and in the future there will be football stars among them, - believes the deputy director of the Rudomain company Oleg Podkopaev.

- Children are our future. It's cool that this meeting took place, we all talked together. I am sure that such measures will be able to motivate them to achieve success in the future in football, - sums up the striker of FC "Kryvbas" Roman Debelko.
