Women's FC "Kryvbas" debuts in the Champions League! Our first opponent is Paris FC Féminines, the bronze medalist of the French championship. Without a doubt, this is a historic and important event for the whole of Kryvyi Rih! After all, for the first time a football club from our city will play in the most prestigious club tournament in Europe.

Women's "Kryvbas" in the last match of the championship confidently beat "EMS-Podillia" in Vinnytsia - 5:0 and in a good mood went to Linköping, Sweden, where the match against the Parisian women will take place. Konstantin Frolov's team arrived in Sweden on Sunday, transiting through Poland. Our girls have already managed to hold their first training sessions in Linköping.

As for Paris, last season the wards of 50-year-old French specialist Sandrine Soubeyran took third place in the French championship, which allows them to qualify for the Champions League. "Paris" was founded in 1971 under the name "Etoile Sports de Juvisy-sur-Orges". In 1985, the club changed its name to Juvizi Esson. In the 1991/92 season, the team won the French championship for the first time.

The opponent is a 6-time champion of the country, the team won silver awards 8 times, bronze awards 11 times, including last season. In 2005, "Paris" won the French Cup. Our future rival got its current name in 2017, when FC Paris was acquired. The highest achievement in the Champions League is the semi-finals in the 2012/13 season.
