Patrick van Leeuwen: It was a tough week, so I'm happy with the result

Head coach of Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas Patrick van Leeuwen commented on the away match of the 1/16 finals of the Ukrainian Cup against Olimpia Savyntsi - 2:0.

- Patrick, Kryvbas won 2:0 and is advancing. How satisfied are you with the team's performance in general?

- I'm happy with the result. I think that's what we worked for. It was a tough week: the journey to this city, the return and the next game on Saturday. So I'm happy with the result and that we're through to the next round.

- Did everything go according to plan today?

- At the same time, I'm a little unhappy with some of the individual performances. I think we should have done our job faster to be able to make more substitutions earlier.

- Who can you point out in a winning match?

- I like players who bring energy to the field. For example, Thiago Borges is exactly that. Not everything goes perfectly for him, but he always works to the end, gives himself to the game and brings the energy to the team that we need.

- What are the team's plans for the coming days?

- We are now returning home, tomorrow we will start recovering, and then we will gradually prepare for the next match on Saturday.
