The head coach of Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" Patrick van Leeuwen commented on the away match of the 26th round of the UPL against SC "Poltava" - 3:3.
- I think we started well. We scored two goals, but then, I don't know what happened, we immediately started conceding goals. It's, you could say, amateurish behavior - instead of using goals as motivation, we relaxed and became too careless. We conceded three goals, and after that we just chased the ball.
- The score is 3:3. After the final whistle, you went to the camera and said something about the referee. What did you mean?
- I think today is an example of where Ukrainian football is. It is not normal for a judge to judge like this. It's just a shame. Shame on how referees judge. And they worked on VAR - this is an unprofessional attitude. Today, two of our goals were not counted. So, I think this is an abnormal attitude towards the Kryvbas football club.
- These are systematic points that you paid attention to. What else angered you during this match?
- You yourself saw the situation where Dibango was kicked and they continued to play. And the side referee was standing a meter away from him and saw and heard everything. The opposing team always shouts. They don't want to play football, they only want to break football. And the team of judges helped them today. We saw something similar in the first round of the championship.
Today we came here to play football. But we were not given the opportunity to play by the judging team. As we have already said, our goals were not counted, the opponent's goals were not canceled, where the same situation was also there. They didn't give us a penalty.
