Patrick van Leeuwen: I'm very happy when we play at home. There's a strong support here and a great atmosphere.

The head coach of Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" Patrick van Leeuwen commented on the home match of the 21st round of the UPL against Kamianets-Podilskyi "Epicentr" - 2:1 in an interview with club journalists.

- Mister, I congratulate you on the victory. Today was a rather intense game. Your comments on the match?

- Well, indeed, it was an intense game because of the large number of mistakes we made when possessing the ball, because of choosing the wrong decisions, nervousness... I don't want to talk about the quality of the field, because it all depends on your concentration with which you start the game. I think we started this match very badly.

What exactly caused this at the moment - I don't know yet, but I'm sure that we can play much better football than the one we showed today. I'm glad that we won, because it was very important for Kryvbas to take three points. But on the other hand, I'm very unhappy with the game itself, because it was more of a struggle than football. Sometimes this happens. So yes, this is my comment on the match: happy with the victory, but a little unhappy with the way we played football.

- Let's talk about the positive moments. Shevchenko's debut goal. How would you comment on it?

- He used his moment to do it. So the third attempt was successful. I'm happy for him that he scored his first goal in the UPL, and at the same time it was an important moment for the team to get back into the game.

- Also today our captain Zaderaka played his 100th anniversary match as part of Kryvbas.

- I know Max, so to speak, for 21 of them. I am very pleased with the captain. And I am very happy with the way he leads the team forward on the field thanks to his leadership qualities. So, I think it is good for Kryvbas to have such a player in the team. And let's hope that he will play at least another hundred matches for the club.

- A few words about the fans. Today, for the first time in a long time, we played at our home stadium. Do you agree that the support was top-notch again?

- Yes, and I am very happy when we play at home. There is very strong support here and a great positive atmosphere. You can hear now from my voice that it has become harder for me to shout to the players with tips, but I think it is always nice to have such fans in the stands. They fill us with a good atmosphere. We thank them for that.
