Patrick van Leeuwen: The guys tried to put pressure on the opponent, that's exactly what we want to see

The head coach of Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" Patrick van Leeuwen spoke about the fourth friendly match at the Spanish winter training camp against the Chinese "Tianjin Tigers" - 3:0.

- Mister, how would you comment on the fourth friendly match at the training camp on hot tracks?

- I think it was a very interesting game. The guys tried to put pressure on the opponent, which is exactly what we want to see, so we created scoring opportunities. In the first half they scored a good goal and could have scored more. And this is something that happens all the time: the players have the intention to attack, but they score once and slow down.

This is something I want to change, because we need to continue to organize and finish all our attacks. In the second half, at the beginning we changed a few positions, scored the second goal immediately and continued to play football. Then it was time for more substitutions to change the game and give everyone the experience of playing against a Chinese team.

- Are you satisfied with the physical condition of the players at this point in the training camp?

- Yes, I am satisfied with the way they work in training. I think we cover enough distance to be ready for the whole 90 minutes or more. So yes, I am very satisfied with the way the team works during physical training: in the gym, on the pitch and also during tactical sessions.
