The head coach of Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas Patrick van Leeuwen commented on the home match of the 27th round of the Ukrainian Premier League against Lviv Karpaty - 1:0.

- Mr. Patrick, today are you more happy that you didn't lose or that you won?

- Actually, I'm happy with both things. We worked well in defense, the opponent was caught offside several times. I'm also happy that we managed to score a goal: Assan Seсk did it. And in the second half we also had many chances, Mendoza could have scored, for example. It's also worth noting that Karpaty also had their scoring opportunities, but we defended well and in the end brought this game to victory.

- Assan Seck played for Kryvbas for the first time in the center forward position. Tell me, what is this connected with?

- Yes, I'm happy with how he acted, he put in a lot of effort. True, he still needs to get into a rhythm to work from the first to the last minute, but I'm very happy with how he worked on the field today.

- After the second half, there was a feeling that Mendoza was taking on too much. Do you think that this hindered the team?

- Yes, of course, he can score, he can do it. Gleiker scored four goals for Dynamo. I understand that he wants to score more. But, of course, if you do it two or three times, it is worth, perhaps, to see who is in a better position.

- Given today's victory, do you think it is possible to calm down a little and forget those failures in the matches with Dynamo and Poltava?

- Yes, of course, these points that we lost... We will still remember them. There were also referee mistakes. But, of course, I am satisfied with today's victory and am already thinking about the three matches that remain in the season.

- Karpaty, in fact, is a very difficult team. How do you rate the level of the opponent?

- This is a very talented team, they have many talented players, players with experience. But, I think they still need a lot of time, because the new coach of Karpaty came only in the winter. They have a good team that wants to fight for the highest places.
