Patrick van Leeuwen: We asked the guys to act as a team, to approach everything collectively

The head coach of Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas Patrick van Leeuwen commented on the second test match at the winter training camp in Spain against the Danish Aarhus - 2:4.

- Patrick, what are your thoughts after the sparring?

- I think that from the first minutes it was noticeable, we saw it yesterday, that the players were a little tired after the first ten days. We asked them to stay organized, act as a team, approach everything collectively. But we conceded two quick goals. I think we should have played more organized at those moments.

Then it took too much time to get into the game. After that, in the first half of the match, we had some difficulties due to the organization of the opponent's game. In the second half, we made several substitutions, released young players. They added energy and interesting decisions, because for them this is the first time in the main team.

So we managed to get back into the game a little. The opponent scored, but we also took our chance. I think it's a good lesson for us after the game against Midtjylland - to play against the leader of the Danish championship to see what strong adult football is.

- Did the opponent act as you expected?

- The opponent's team has many experienced players from whom we can learn. The first ten days went well, the guys worked hard. We had two strong opponents in the friendly matches, so now we have enough information. Now we give the team two weekends to rest a little and prepare for the next training.
