The head coach of Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas Patrick van Leeuwen commented on the home match of the 1st round of the UPL against Lviv Karpaty - 1:4.

- We saw two different halves in the performance of Kryvyi Rih. How would you rate the team's game?

- Yes. I think the first half was high-quality and well-organized. We played less through long passes, used combination football more. We entered the game well, converted a penalty, and even before that we had moments to open the score.

- This summer, the team significantly updated the squad. How much is the restructuring process currently affecting the game?

- We are currently building a new team. After the departure of many players, we lost some stability, so we are now working to return to the level that the team demonstrated before.

- After conceding goals, the team failed to regain control of the match. What is Kryvbas missing most at the moment?

- In the second half, we made mistakes, after which we conceded a goal. After that, it became clear that we still lack the experience to turn the tide of such a match. This is a natural process for a team that is going through a restructuring phase.

- What conclusions should the team draw after this match?

- Every game is a new experience. The players and the whole team are constantly learning something. This match also became a lesson for us, and in the next game we need to go out with more desire, character and the right mood.

- How would you assess Roy Nawi's debut?

- As for Roy Nawi, he is already showing that he can be a serious reinforcement. After the departure of Araujo and several other central midfielders, we needed a player of this profile. He came from the Israeli championship, and this is a quality tournament where teams play good football.

- What can you say about another debutant - Shakeone Satchwell?

- Another of our debutants, Satchwell, has good speed, technique and it is noticeable that he came from a strong championship. Now the most important thing for him is to adapt as quickly as possible to Ukrainian football, which is more intense and physically tough, and also learn to use his scoring chances as effectively as possible.
