"Polissya" - "Kryvbas" 2:0

In the 20th round of the UPL, Kryvbas played against Polissya in Zhytomyr, and it was the central match of the weekend. For the first time in the season, Herbert appeared in the starting lineup, taking his place in the center of the field. He returned to the field after Mendoza was injured, and captain Zaderaka, the nominal midfielder, started the game at the front. This restructuring occurred due to Paraco's disqualification.

First half

The hosts started the match more actively. In the 5th minute, Kemkin parried a dangerous shot from Krasnopir with his foot. But how did Kryvbas respond? Yurczec made a great pass from the right to the center of the penalty area - Shevchenko hit it in a touch - above the goal, unfortunately.

The game continued to be even. In the 14th minute, Mendoza wasted his chance. After a mistake by Polissya's defense, Gleiker shot low from under the defender - Volynets was able to repel the ball. Closer to the middle of the half, the Zhytomyr team took the lead. In the 24th minute, Emerllahu scored, but he did it from a clear offside.

Later, he scored again - Dibango took the ball out of the empty net. In these minutes, the Kryvyi Rih team paid more attention to defense, but in the 34th minute they still conceded. A long pass was made to Krasnopir, who scored from outside the penalty area - the ball flew past Kemkin's collar - 1:0.

Second half

After the break, the game started from the moment of Zaderaka. Max scored with his head after a high pass - Volynets saved "Polissya" again. Mendoza immediately threatened the goal - from an acute angle - higher. The red-whites actively started the second half. Later, the opponent equalized the game and made several dangerous attacks of his own.

Fedor did not score the first-half goal. But in the 75th minute we conceded a second time. After a cross from the same Fedor, Nazarenko accurately scored into the near corner - 2:0. The hosts did not even think of letting go of such a big advantage. In turn, our team continued to carry out its attacks, but in the end today - it was clearly not our day. Note: in the last minutes, the U-19 defender Maiakov made his debut, replacing Vilivald.
