"Polissya" U-21 - "Kryvbas" U-21 1:0

Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih U-21 faced their counterparts from Polissya Zhytomyr in an away match during Matchday 7 of the UPL-2 youth championship.

The first half began as an evenly contested affair. Both teams sought to control possession and create scoring opportunities. Polissya U-21 gradually increased their intensity and began creating more dangerous chances. The hosts opened the scoring in the 40th minute; following a defensive error by Kryvbas in the center, the ball fell to Kulmaliev, who capitalized on the opportunity by firing a shot into the far corner - 1:0.

The "Red-and-Whites" were unable to equalize before the break, so the teams headed into halftime with the Zhytomyr side holding a narrow lead. In the second half, Kryvbas U-21 tried to step up their attack and get back into the game. They saw more of the ball and looked for chances to finish, but the hosts defended intelligently and prevented an equalizer.

In the closing stages of the match, the Kryvbas players kept up the pressure but failed to convert their attacks into goals. The match ended in a 0:1 defeat.

The next match is another away game, scheduled for October 11 against Obolon U-21 in Matchday 8.
