Polissya U-21 - Kryvbas U-21: September 19 at 13:30

Our youth team plays its next Ukrainian youth championship match tomorrow. In Matchday 7 of the UPL-2, Kryvbas U-21 will face their counterparts from Zhytomyr’s Polissya in an away game.

In the previous round (Matchday 6), the "Red-and-Whites" hosted FC Kharkiv U-21. The Kryvyi Rih side opened the scoring in the 8th minute through a goal by Shpylka. However, the visitors scored three times before halftime. Early in the second half, Kryvbas showed character, leveling the score at 3–3 within two minutes thanks to goals from Myroniuk and Tymoshenko. Ultimately, however, Kharkiv regained the lead and won the match 6:4.

Polissya U-21 also played at home in Matchday 6, securing a narrow 1:0 victory over Livyi Bereh U-21. After six rounds, our opponents sit in third place in the standings with 12 points, having recorded four wins and two losses. Kryvbas U-21 currently holds 15th place with 3 points, with a record of one win and five defeats.

Our team will definitely be without captain Hubenko tomorrow; he was sent off in the previous round and is suspended for this match.
