"Poltava" - "Kryvbas" 3:3

In the 26th round of the UPL in Kropyvnytskyi, Kryvbas met with SC Poltava. The first round match resulted in a draw – 2:2. The starting lineup of Kryvbas has undergone changes compared to the game against Dynamo: Rojas replaced Jones in the center of defense, Seck appeared on the right in the midfield, and Bar Lin formed a duo of central defenders with Zaderaka. Let us remind you that Araujo missed the match due to suspension.

First half

The debut of the half turned out to be very unpredictable. Kryvbas quickly opened the score when, in the 2nd minute, Paraco took advantage of Pidlepich's mistake, who sent the ball low past the goalkeeper - 0:1. Then - more. Mendoza shot from the left - Seck scored his debut goal for our team with his second touch - 0:2.

But what happened in the next nine minutes defies any logic. Poltava not only fought back, but also took the lead. Former Kryvbas player Kotsiumaka reduced the deficit with a takeoff shot after a flank pass – 1:2. At the 11th minute, Sukhoruchko left Kemkin no chance, and again from the flank – 2:2. And later, Sad was the first to finish after Odariuk’s shot and Kemkin’s save – 3:2.

In the future, attacks came from both teams. Sukhoruchko could have scored from the second floor, but Kemkin saved. And then Kryvbas’s response: Seck headed the ball – hit the goalkeeper, from which the leather ball hit the post and flew out into the field… After that, a long air alarm began, and later a second one, which interrupted the match for more than an hour.

Second half

From the first minutes of the second half, Kryvbas went ahead, attacking with great force. Moments of Shevchenko, Zaderaka (twice), Paraco, Bar Lin. Our team had a great playing and territorial advantage, but it was impossible to translate it into a goal.

In the 70th minute, the ball finally flew into the goal of the nominal hosts, but it was later canceled after a VAR review due to Rojas being offside. The same Paraco made a sharp shot on goal – Minchev saved Poltava again. Mendoza shot powerfully from outside the penalty area – above the goal. And a dangerous standard almost on the penalty area line in the 81st minute was unsuccessfully executed by Bar Lin – into a wall of players. And yet we scored.

Bar Lin made amends: he received the ball in the penalty area in the 85th minute and beat the goalkeeper with a low shot – 3:3. No matter how hard Kryvbas tried to snatch victory until the last moment, unfortunately, we did not succeed today. Villivald did score a header in the last seconds, but after reviewing the VAR, the goal was canceled again, due to a foul by Zaderaka in the previous moment. Unfortunately. We have a fighting draw – 3:3.
