Roy Nawi: We are well-prepared for the match against Epicentr

Roy Nawi, the Israeli midfielder for Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, discusses preparations for the upcoming away match against Epitsentr Kamianets-Podilskyi in the 12th round of the UPL.

- An away match against Epicentr lies ahead. How are the preparations going? How well is the team developing its mutual understanding?

- We are all working together as a single unit. The coaching staff shows us video footage, we analyze our opponent in detail, and we prepare for the upcoming match. At the same time, we are getting to know each other better, building chemistry, and learning to trust our teammates more. We hope to win on Saturday - for our own sake and for our fans. Such a result would be crucial for the team's confidence.

- How significant is this upcoming match for Kryvbas? What objectives have you set for yourselves?

- We all fully grasp the importance of this match. It is a serious challenge, and we are preparing for it thoroughly. Our goal is to defeat Epitsentr. We are feeling better now, our morale is high, and we believe that, with God’s help, we can achieve the desired result.

- There have been noticeable positive changes in Kryvbas’s recent performances. In your opinion, what aspects of the team's play have already improved?

- That’s true. The team is controlling the ball well and looks cohesive - both in attack and in defense. It is important for us to dominate on the pitch, impose our style of play on the opponent, and maintain the initiative throughout the entire match.

- The team is currently playing on a very tight schedule, with quite a few away games recently. How difficult is it, physically, to sustain this pace?

- Naturally, constant travel is challenging, especially since this is our weekly reality. However, we have to adapt to these conditions and manage our energy wisely. We place a strong emphasis on recovery - monitoring our sleep and nutrition - and doing everything necessary to ensure we enter every match in optimal physical condition.

- What is the team’s mindset heading to the Khmelnytskyi region? What are your expectations for Saturday’s encounter?

- Overall, the atmosphere within the team is positive. We are in the right frame of mind, fully prepared for the upcoming match, and will do everything in our power to return with three points.
