Roy Nawi: I took a risk because I believe that nothing is impossible - and I scored

Israeli midfielder of Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" Roy Nawi - about the results of the away match of the 2nd round of the UPL against "Zorya" Luhansk - 3:1.

- This match started not easily for "Kryvbas". How would you describe the first half?

- Indeed, we did not start in the best way, we adjusted to the opponent's pace and did not quite understand what we were doing. In the second half, the coach made tactical adjustments, we started to work harder, acted more boldly, believed in our own strength - and here is the result.

- What exactly, in your opinion, did not work out for the team in the first half?

- In the first half, as I said, we played at their pace instead of controlling the game the way we know how and how we practice in training. In the second half, the coach made some tactical adjustments, we believed in ourselves, started working more with the ball, controlling it and daring to take long shots. I also went on the field, scored a goal - and that changed everything.

- What did the coach say to the team at halftime?

- That we should believe in ourselves more, because we are a good team. He changed the tactical picture and formation, we started playing bolder, more often shot from distance and in the end we won this match.

- Did you expect that you would be able to score today?

- To be honest, before the match, the coach told me that I would score. I believed in myself, but everything happened so quickly. I took a risk, because I believe that nothing is impossible, - and scored. This is my first goal in my professional career!

- What goals do you set for yourself after such a debut goal?

- I want to score more goals, help the team and I'm very happy about that.
