"Rokyta" - "Kryvbas" 0:3

In a match in which it was extremely difficult to focus exclusively on football due to the terrible events the day before, Kryvbas won a convincing victory over Rokyta and advanced to the next round of the Ukrainian Cup. On August 21, Kryvyi Rih experienced another terrorist attack by the russian occupiers. As a result of the attack on civilian infrastructure, civilians in the city were killed and injured.

Among the injured was the media director of FC Kryvbas Roman Popov, who is currently in the hospital. Despite the extremely difficult emotional state, the red and whites took to the field and accomplished their task - we continue to fight for the Cup.

First half

Kryvbas took the initiative from the first minutes. Already in the 2nd minute, Shevchenko scored from the penalty line, but the ball went over the goal. Later, the advantage of the red and whites became more and more tangible. In the 15th minute, Giovany Herbert struck from the left flank, which looked more like a kick-pass, but the Rokyta goalkeeper took the ball. A minute later, Yakson Rivas was in a good position, but shot high over the goal.

In the 25th minute, after a corner, Jones won a head-to-head battle, but headed over the crossbar. A moment later, Giovany had a great chance - the midfielder almost came face to face with the goalkeeper, but missed the goal area. Kryvbas' pressure finally brought the result in the 33rd minute. Seck passed from the right flank, and Pidhurskyi, fighting with a defender, cut the ball with his head into the far corner - 0:1. Congratulations to Denys on his debut goal for the red and whites.

Before the break, the red and whites could have doubled their advantage. In the 43rd minute, Seck had a great opportunity, coming almost face to face, but the goalkeeper blocked the shot with his feet. And already in the 45th minute, after a long-range shot by Giovany, the ball ricocheted off the same Sek and hit the crossbar.

Second half

After the break, Rokyta tried to add to the attack. In the 52nd minute, Misiailo dangerously executed a free kick - the ball went near the post, although Kemkin controlled the situation. In the 57th minute, Kryvbas scored a second time. After a pass from the right flank, Nawi shot at goal, Kanibolotskyi blocked the ball, but the first to finish was the team captain Vilivald, who sent it into the net from a few meters - 0:2.

The hosts tried to reduce the gap, but the red and whites confidently controlled the game. In the 72nd minute, Rivas took the initiative and shot a low shot into the near corner from about 20 meters - the Rokyta goalkeeper was in place. And in the 78th minute, the score was 0:3. Giovany Herbert played into the wall with Machado, who came on as a substitute, entered the penalty area and put an end to the match with a precise low shot into the far corner.

In the 87th minute, Kryvbas scored the fourth goal: Mulyk scored with a header, but the referees recorded an offside position. The result - 0:3. Kryvbas confidently overcomes the barrier of the 1/32 finals of the Ukrainian Cup.
