Roman Debelko: The team ran forward with passion to equalize the score and snatch victory

Roman Debelko, head coach of FC "Kryvbas" U-21:
- We had a good match. We really played against a good opponent. We knew that the opponent was more experienced, more mature - players were allowed from the adult team. But we gave a decent fight and had a decent match. Still, we lack a little experience, because, to be honest, we have a fairly young team, and in this regard we were losing a little somewhere.
During the break, we made some adjustments. The most important thing we wanted to convey to the players is that they can play football, they have everything for it. We asked the team not to give in in the fight, in desire, in character. And in principle, I think we succeeded. In the second half, we completely outplayed our opponent and could have equalized or even won.
I am most pleased with how the team wanted to win: with what passion they ran forward to equalize and snatch victory. These games are very useful for our team. Usually we play against older opponents, and it is in such matches that the team grows much faster.
Maksym Shpylka, forward of FC Kryvbas U-21:
- Unfortunately, the result is negative - we lost, but we will definitely draw the appropriate conclusions. At the same time, I think that the game turned out good in terms of content: the team fought until the very end, so I am sure that this is definitely not the end for us. I think that there was a lack of composure and the last pass. We really created a lot of chances, but the execution let us down.
The pace of the match was high, we tried to keep it as long as we could. The opponent simply took their chances. Now the main thing is to rest and draw the right conclusions: both after the previous matches and today. I am convinced that in the next matches we will come back stronger and show better football.
