The head coach of the youth team of Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas Roman Debelko gave his first interview in his new position.

- Roman Mykolayovych, what was the decisive factor in your decision to head the youth team of Kryvbas?

- I was made an offer that I could not refuse (smiles). Seriously, this is a new challenge for me, and I believe that this is a huge step forward in my coaching career.

- How important is it for you that you once defended the colors of Kryvbas as a player?

- It is very important for me, because Kryvbas holds a special place in my heart. I am very pleased and extremely happy that I have been entrusted with such a responsible role as a head coach.

- How do you see your football and what principles do you want to instill in young players?

- My football will not differ from the philosophy of the first team. And this is fast, aggressive, vertical football. And the key principles for me are discipline, consistency, hard work and good relationships between people.

- What are the main tasks you set for yourself as the head of the youth team?

- The most important task is to prepare young football players for the first team as much as possible. My coaching staff and I will try to reveal the full potential of the players we have.

- What is more important for you in working with youth: the result or the development of football players?

- I believe that if the training process is built correctly, if all the players give their best, grow and develop, then we will move in the right direction.

- How will your experience as a professional football player help in coaching?

- I believe that my experience will be important, because I have already gone this way and I am sure that I will be able to pass it on to my wards.
