"Ruh" - "Kryvbas" 1:2

In the 9th round of the UPL, Kryvbas played in Lviv against FC Ruh. This was the first match for both teams after a two-week break due to the national team's performances.

First half

The hosts started the match more actively. In the 7th minute, Prytula missed the far nine from a good position. Three minutes later, Klyaver finished off a flank pass with a header – Kryvbas was saved by the post. Gradually, the Kryvrizhet team pushed the opponent out of their half of the field, creating several good chances.

But soon they opened the scoring. An attack took place on the left flank, Mendoza shot into the goal area, from where Paraco touched it and left no chance for the goalkeeper – 0:1. Rukh got angry and threw a lot of strength forward to fight back as soon as possible. Their attacks through the flanks were especially dangerous.

Makhankov, who started for the first time this season, Prytula and Klyaver threatened the goal, and Reilyanu frankly forgave our team from a good position after a counterattack, scoring over the goal. The red-and-whites tried to respond to every attack of the opponent with their own, but the Lviv team still looked sharper in front before the break. Nevertheless, the teams went into the break with a score of 0:1 in favor of the red-and-whites.

Second half

Immediately after the break, Kryvbas caught the opponent in a mistake: Mendoza robbed Slyubyk; Bekavac made a pass - it ricocheted, and the ball fell clearly on the foot of Zaderaka, who shot from close range without a chance for Gereta - 0:2. Rukh continued to have a territorial advantage, but our defense repelled all the opponent's attempts.

It was very dangerous after a header from several meters by Fala – Makhankov saved. And then the finishing touch – Konate and Williwald played until the last, blocking the danger. Tverdokhlib also had his chance later, but his shot from the second floor fell to the goalkeeper. In the 84th minute, a flank pass from “Rukh” passed, a header and a shot by Fala from several meters – 1:2.

The hosts hoped to make a comeback until the last, creating a threat near our goal, but the Kryvyi Rih team held on to win.
