"Shakhtar" - "Kryvbas" 2:2

In the central match of the 14th round of the UPL, Kryvbas played Shakhtar away. The teams' last meetings were fiercely contested, and today's match was no exception.

First half

Both teams started the game quite briskly. Already in the 1st minute, we missed Marlon's dash, who shot over the goal from an advantageous position. Kryvbas responded in the 8th minute, when Mykytyshyn from the penalty line after a counterattack hit Fesiun. Shakhtar had the advantage, but the Kryvrizh players did not sit still in defense.

In the 13th minute, Parako won the ball on the flank from Marlon, and shot into the goal, from where he accurately beat Zaderaka - 0:1! Donetsk went ahead, in those minutes it was really difficult for our defense. The opponent even equalized later, but Meirelles' goal was canceled after the VAR review - Marlon stepped on Jurcec's foot.

There was active football from both teams. And in the 38th minute, the hosts managed to equalize. After a pass from the corner of the field, Konoplya headed in - Konate blocked the shot, but Ocheretko was the first to finish - 1:1. The red-and-whites showed character and were ahead again in a few minutes.

Corner - free kick from Tverdokhlib - Vilivald, falling, sends the ball into the far corner - 1:2. Congratulations to Volodymyr on his debut goal for our team. Shakhtar almost got back on track when the same Vilivald, interrupting the pass, hit the crossbar of his own goal.

Second half

The debut of the second half began with Tverdokhlib. Fesiun miraculously reacted to Yegor's powerful shot from an advantageous position. Later, Makhankov showed class, pulling the ball after Meirellis's cunning shot. Shakhtar pressed on our goal, but Kryvbas acted in an organized manner behind.

There were no chances for a long time after that. There were attacks from both sides, but without any real escalation. Kryvbas played quite well on counterattacks, and after some of them we could count on a third goal, but we lacked a little accuracy in the final pass and luck. The hosts, in turn, tried to save at least one point until the last, and they did get theirs.

In the last minute of injury time, Eguinaldu scored. 2:2. Thank you to the red and whites for the great football. We believe in the team!
