Shakhtar - Kryvbas: October 2 at 15:00

Tomorrow, Friday, October 2, Kryvbas will play a friendly match against Shakhtar Donetsk. The game will take place on one of the training pitches at the Emily Resort complex in Vynnyky.

This friendly serves as part of the "Red-and-Whites'" preparation during the international break in the Ukrainian championship, caused by national and youth team fixtures. Patrick van Leeuwen's squad is currently training in a routine of one or two sessions a day; the match will offer an opportunity to test tactical work and maintain match fitness.

The last official match between Kryvbas and Shakhtar took place on May 17, 2026, in Kryvyi Rih during Matchday 29 of the UPL. On that occasion, Shakhtar won 3:2. It is worth noting that the teams' previous encounter was also a high-scoring affair, ending in a 2:2 draw in December 2025.

Friday's friendly will be played behind closed doors. Our team's delegation is traveling to the Lviv region today.
