The start of the new season of the Women's Higher League is on August 7

The draft of the new season of the Women's Championship of Ukraine in the Higher League for the 2024/2025 season was presented yesterday. According to the plans, the start of the new season is August 7.

In the Higher League, 12 teams will play in two stages. The first stage (12 rounds) - one round according to the calendar draw. The indicators obtained at this stage are saved. The second - two groups of 6 teams are formed, depending on the occupied places in the table, which will play plus two rounds (at home and away - i.e. 10 more rounds).

Group 1 - places from 1 to 6. Group 2 - places from 7 to 12. Total - 126 matches. 1st and 2nd place - Champions League; 10th and 11th place - transitional matches with teams that will take 2nd and 3rd place in the First League; 12th place - transfer to the First League.
