The midfielder of Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" U-19 answered the question of the Telegram publication Kamon, Play! about his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League and performances for the youth team.
- You For the second season in a row, you are playing for the youth team, and at the end of last year, you were a substitute in the main team in the last round. Can you compare the difference in team preparation?
- Of course there is. In the first team, in the youth team - everything is professional, solid, but in the main team, of course - at a higher level. Because this is the status of the UPL, the level of teams, players, and this is what we should strive for. I am very grateful to "Kryvbas" for giving young players a chance to prove themselves, including me.
- Do you remember what they said to you before your debut on the field in the game against Mynai? Worried?
- They told me not to be afraid and to take the game on myself. Yes, in the first minutes I was a little worried, but then I got involved and it became easier. Yuriy Vernydub held a conversation, gave instructions and told me not to worry.
- You have a good number of penalties for "Kryvbas" U-19: 3 shots - 3 goals. How do you do it?
- Few people expect shots in the center, and when you see that the goalkeeper is preparing to jump into a corner, the easiest way is to take a risk and shoot in the center of the goal. Of course, it's scary if you don't score, because there will be complaints, but as they say, "a goal doesn't smell."
- Do you somehow train your shots additionally? Maybe after team practice?
- No, I am not preparing for the penalty. You can say that I shoot penalties only during matches. And if we talk about free kicks, then I practice them both during training and after. We usually stay for 20-30 minutes, but no more, as this can lead to injuries, especially after exertion.
