Forever in our hearts: FC Kryvbas planted 21 trees in memory of those killed after the terrorist attack in the country 404

Kryvyi Rih will never forget the tragedy that occurred on April 4, 2025. Then, during the russian attack, 21 people died, including 9 children. 21 trees were planted in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack at the Hirnyk stadium. Next to each one is a plaque with the name of the deceased.

"When I hear stories about children, I have many thoughts about war and how we endure this situation. We gathered here to honor the memory of children and their families and with the hope that something like this will never happen again. It is very difficult to realize that children are dying. We must cherish the memory of children and their families, and also think about how we can find a solution as soon as possible so that this horror is ended," said Ori David, assistant coach of FC Kryvbas.

Each tree symbolizes a life that was cut short by war. The memory of the innocent victims is part of the club's history - a symbol of strength, indomitability and love for their hometown.

"The memory of the victims will live forever. Every fan who comes to the stadium will see these trees and remember the people of Kryvyi Rih. They will forever remain in our hearts," commented FC Kryvyi Rih captain Maksym Zaderaka.
