The UAF Investigation Department has officially completed the investigation into Kryvbas midfielder Gleiker Mendoza. The case was closed due to the absence of any signs of disciplinary violation or manipulation of competitions.
The controversial episode occurred in the match against Karpaty Lviv (May 8, 2026), where the player received a fourth yellow card. The commission checked whether this was an intentional "zeroing" of cards. FC Kryvbas provided official explanations signed by the club's general director Volodymyr Bayenko and the player himself.
UAF verdict: Gleiker's delay in leaving the field during a substitution was due solely to emotional tension and the game situation. The club's arguments were recognized as fully justified, and no evidence of unsportsmanlike intent was found. The collection of materials on this fact has officially been completed. Our club continues to remain faithful to the principles of fair play and regulations.
